HealthNet TPO works closely together with the local population. We support the local population with knowledge, policymaking and training of skills. In our recruitment policy we state that it is important that we are not sending specialists to the field to provide direct medical treatment. Instead, we teach and encourage local health workers to enable them to rebuild their own health systems.

For management positions we prefer hiring local managers and we strongly recommend them to apply for these positions. Public Health Advisors, management advisors, researchers and trainers we invite to apply to support the local capacity building in the area of their specialism as mentioned above. We offer both long-term contracts (1-3 years) and short-term contracts on consultancy basis, depending on the nature of the assignment and donor funding.
